RTV Silicone Aluminum 8 Oz

For automotive Use only. RTV Silicone 100 % premium silicone rubber acetoxy sealant cures to a tough waterproof rubber upon exposure to moisture in the air. Provides long term flexible durability. Use as a space filling and bonding or for form- in -place gaskets. Adheres to clean metal, glass, most types of wood (non- oily), other silicone resins, ceramics, most painted and plastic surfaces.

Applications:

Automotive, Truck and RV industries for general sealing, caulking and form-in-place gasketing.

Note: Not recommended on surfaces to be painted; paints will not adhere well to sealant (paint before applying sealant). In totally confined areas (atmospheric moisture is required for curing) for use on or near sensitive metals, such as copper, brass, zinc, galvanized iron or magnesium. (Acetic acid released during cure can be corrosive, especially in confined cure conditions. Do not use on head gaskets.
